When Sex Addiction Invades Your Life

What do you do when your spouse publicly pleads guilty to child pornography charges? Some would decidedly relocate to a foreign country. Others might ponder suicide. Still more file for divorce. Maddie Corman chose to face the truth, stay married and support her husband’s recovery by participating in 12-step groups for friends and family members of sexually addicted people. The 48-year-old wife and mother of three is also unveiling a one-woman show called Accidentally Brave presented by Tony award-winning producer Daryl Roth at DR2 Theatre in Manhattan. The Kristin Hanggi-directed piece is performed by Ms. Corman, an actress who has appeared in bit parts on several episodes of Law & Order and major motion pictures, such as Maid in Manhattan starring Jennifer Lopez. Previews begin March 11 and the show officially opens on March 25, 2019.
